Improving welding technology for large geotechnical reinforcements

Abstract

The problems of improving the technology of welding production of large geotechnical reinforcements are discussed. A technology is developed for producing reinforcements from polymer strips, including joining a packet of strips with a series of joints increasing the load-carrying capacity of strengthened soil in relation to the type of soil and the type of installations, and the risk of failure before the end of the design service life of structures is reduced.
