Deposition of coatings of non-ferrous metals and alloys on a carbon steel substrate^*

Abstract

New methods of electric resistance deposition of metal coatings of non-ferrous metals and alloys and other low-weldability materials on the surface of carbon steel components are proposed. The filler is in the form of bundles of dissimilar wires or combined fillers consisting of a perforated tube of a non-ferrous metal with a low-carbon steel wire inserted into it.
