Abstract

The scope of this paper is to present the distributed control modelling of multi-assortment repetitive production. The paper focuses on production flow allocation in both the steady-state and transient phases. The proposed method is aimed at dispatching rules designing, that guarantees a deadlock-free and starvation-free system functioning while maximizing the rate of system resources. The concept of the production constraint-based flow coordination and the system's performance evaluation are discussed in detail.
