Abstract
The 17th International Fair for Educational Materials and Equipment was held in Dusseldorf, West Germany, from 27 to 31 March. Housed in eight of the large halls at the new Fairground, Didacta covers a wide range of products and supplies likely to be found in schools. In the audio-visual sections of the exhibition a wide range of equipment was on show including a number of complex types of equipment. Didacta 79 was not used by any of the large manufacturers to introduce any new revolutionary systems. A number of more basic a-v products were introduced and some of the more interesting items noted by the writer are detailed here.
