Introduction
The Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) in Washington DC, in collaboration with the International Council for Educational Media (ICEM) in Paris, France has conducted this seminal international survey on the extent and the uses of new information technologies in education. Among these information media are micro and minicomputers, satellite telecommunications, videodisc and related video technologies.
