Abstract
It is a fairly widespread practice for producers of educational technology to have recourse to contests, exchange and co‐production in order to increase the range of productions they can offer without a proportional rise in expenditure. Such formulas, in an age when public funding for education is increasingly scarce, are rapidly gaining in popularity. In the course of its ten years of activity as a producer and distributor of educational videos, Serveis de Cultura Popular (SCP), a non‐profit foundation located in Barcelona, has experimented with a number of different formulas, usually with extremely positive results.
