JENS O. RIIS

JENS O. RIIS holds a Master's Degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and a Ph.D. in operations research from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. Professor Riis has a chair in Industrial Management at the Engineering School of the University of Aalborg, Denmark. He has published articles and books in the field of project management, industrial management, design of production management systems, and management of technology. He is is currently heading a Danish government supported research program on integrated production systems. Professor Riis is a member of the Academy of the Technical Sciences in Denmark, a member of the IFIP Working Group (5.7) on Computer-Aided Production Management Systems, and a member of the Editorial Board and referee of the International Journal of Project Management and the journal Production Planning &Control.
