Optimal model of it directors interaction in the digital transformation of business processes

ABSTRACT

The research is devoted to the study of the functional role structure of the interaction of the company's top management. The subject area of the study includes projects of digital transformation of business processes. The functional role status of IT directors for such positions as CIO, CDO, CDTO, CTO, CA was investigated. The analysis of the most frequently used models of interaction of IT directors was carried out and the optimal model was determined. The study was conducted using the Delphi expert assessment and the hierarchy analysis method. For the established optimal model related to the integration type of management, the organisational features of its application are described. Solutions are proposed to improve the quality of functional-role interaction of IT directors, which consider personal effectiveness, interaction style, ability to adopt technologies. The results of the study inform scientists about new data in the field of organisational behaviour for companies implementing digital initiatives. Practitioners can use the results of our research to adapt their organisational structure in such a way as to reduce the risks of the human factor during the implementation of the digital transformation strategy.

Natalia Mamedova

Natalia Mamedova, received a Master's degree in Law from the Moscow University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI), Moscow, Russia, in 2003 and a PhD in Economics and National Economy Management from the Moscow University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI), Moscow, Russia, in 2009. Currently, she works as an associate Professor of the Basic Department of Digital Economics at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Moscow, Russia. In 2021, he received a master's degree in the program “Big Data and Digital Educational Engineering” at the MEPhI Research Institute, Moscow, Russia. From 2010 to 2021, she participates in research projects funded by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Grant Fund of the President of the Russian Federation and other customers. Her research interests include knowledge management methods, decision support systems, and information systems management methods. Ms. The author participates in expert communities and is accredited by the Ministry of Justice of Russia as independent experts for the anti-corruption examination of legal acts.

Mikhail Afanasev, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Technology Specialist Diploma Qualification: “Economist-Manager” Diploma of Candidate of Economic Sciences. Teaching is conducted using practical experience gained during the management of large-scale projects, as well as the latest developments in the field of Situational Management and Business Engineering. Specialist in the use and administration of InfoWatch and Traffic Monitor 6. He has competencies in the field of modern methodologies for describing business processes and business modeling. Conducts seminars on the following topics: “Structuring of companies and groups. Analysis and optimization of the organizational structure”; “A systematic approach to project management: techniques and tools”. Developed the author's masterpiece “Practical techniques in the management of investment construction projects”.

Alexey Dyuzhov

Alexey Dyuzhov, In 2003 he graduated from the Moscow State University MESI. Qualification: economist in the specialty “Accounting, analysis and audit”. In 2005, he received the qualification certificate of the auditor of the “General Audit”. Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. In 2006 he defended his PhD thesis in the specialty 08.00.10 “Finance and Credit” and received the degree of Candidate of Economics. Worked (2004 - 2015) as an associate professor at the Moscow State University MESI at the Department of Financial Law; (2004 - 2011) as an associate professor at the Moscow International Institute of Econometrics, Informatics, Finance and Law at the Department of Taxes and Tax Policy. Since 2015, he has been working at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics as an associate professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation. He is a professional auditor of an audit company.

Andrey Ivanov

Andrey Ivanov, Currently, he works as the head of the Department of the Faculty of Business and Additional Education of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. He has extensive experience of more than 10 years in the field of crisis management in non-standard situations, startups of new educational programs and projects in the field of business process informatization. For more than 20 years, he has been performing managerial functions in the field of business process organization, material and technical base management. He is engaged in attracting investments to the University, interacting with government and commercial organizations. He has extensive experience in managing and participating in the implementation of scientific and applied projects in the field of organizational behavior, project management, knowledge management in educational organizations.

Antonina Kuzyakina

Antonina Kuzyakina, In 2018 she graduated from the Plekhanov Russian university of economics with bachelor's degree in “Business analytics” and in 2020 she received master's degree in «IT-consulting». Now she is studying in graduate school and is going to defend her PhD. Also she works as a junior researcher in the Strategic Information Technologies Research Institute since 2018. From 2018 to 2021, she participates in research projects funded by the Moscow Department of Education, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Grant Fund of the President of the Russian Federation and other customers. Her research interests include decision support systems and digital transformation.
