Abstract
A group of guest editors agreed to study a set of themes during the Japan AIDS Conference and to present their work in the form of a brief report. This serves to provide an insightful summary of some of the major psychosocial and clinical issues presented. References are quoted by the first author only with an Abstract Number. These can be found in the Japan Conference Abstracts Volumes.
