Emergent writing methodologies in feminist studies

Notes

1. To reject the positivism inherent in conventional humanist qualitative inquiry, St. Pierre argues that we must turn towards the ‘posts,' shorthand for ‘post-colonial, post-critical, post-humanist, post-Fordist, post-positivist, post-feminist, post-foundational, post-emancipatory, post-subjective, post-everything' (Citation2011, 613), not for a new, corrective research methodology (to be summarized neatly in a methods textbook), but for new ways of imagining inquiry.
