Managing quality for organizational effectiveness: Empirical evidence from four sawmills in Atlantic Canada

Quality management has beed considered as one of the most significant factors for organizational effectiveness. This study reports some empirical evidence on the effects of quality management programmes on organizational effectiveness as measured by productivity, safety record, employee turnover, customer satisfaction and product quality.
