Experimentally Based Quality Design Methodology for Electromechanical Products

, &
Pages 49-61 | Published online: 15 Oct 2007

SUMMARY

An experimentally based quality engineering methodology is presented. This is an integrated approach, involving statistical experimental design, and the quality loss function. The methodology is used as the mean by which variability of a product performance and quality loss are reduced. The method is implemented using a case study from the electromechanical product industry.
