Summary

Interaction between ultra-violet and gamma irradiation for survival was observed with Aspergillus nidulans. It was suggested that this interaction provided a demonstration of repair mechanisms in this organism. In contrast to previous reports no interaction was observed in mutation induction for resistance to 8 aza-guanine or 6-methyl purine.
