Abstract
We describe a rapid procedure for the accurate measurement of nuclear areas on unperturbed living cells as used in radiobiological experiments, using the confocal laser scanning microscope. The microdosimetric interpretation of radiobiological data requires precise information on the nuclear area of cells as irradiated with high-LET radiation.
