Deleuzian bodies, feminist tactics

Pages 308-319 | Published online: 16 Aug 2006

Notes

See Deleuze and Guattari Citation1984 and Deleuze and Guattari Citation1988.

Moira Gatens develops an account of ‘order-words’ and ‘pass-words’ in relation to this aspect of Sharon Marcus's work that draws on Deleuze's Spinozist ethology and the notion of ‘incorporeal transformation’ derived from Stoic philosophy (Gatens Citation1996).

The Nietzschean ideas that Mardorossian draws on are to be found in section fifteen of the ‘Third Essay’ of On the Genealogy of Morals (1887).

For a further discussion of these issues, see Marsden Citation2004.
