How Quality Management models influence company results–Conclusions of an empirical study based on the Delphi method

Pages 775-794 | Published online: 24 Jan 2007

Abstract

In this article, the authors analyse the influence on companies' performance of the two most important models for Quality Management practice popularized in Europe in recent years–the ISO 9000 and the EFQM models–based on a qualitative survey carried out using the Delphi method. The results of this survey were analysed and triangulated with the results of other surveys carried out previously, as well as with information gathered during several in-depth interviews of the experts that participated in the Delphi panel.
