In Physiotherapy Theory and Practice Vol. 22, no. 4, the Descriptive Report “Reliability and validity of a standardized Mensendieck physiotherapy test (SMT)” by Gro Killi Haugstad, Tor S. Haugstad, Unni Kirste, Siv Leganger, Brit Hammel, Inger Klemmetsen, and Ulrik F. Malt featured the following errors. Corrections are provided below.
In the abstract (p. 189), the sentence
“High intraclass correlations (Chronbach's alpha ranging from 0.82 to 0.97) were found among the testers.” should read
“High intraclass correlations (ICC1.1 ranging from 0.82 to 0.97) were found among the testers.”
In the discussion (p. 194), the sentence
“1) Using the SMT, the Mensendieck therapist demonstrated a high degree of reliability when examining both patients with CPP and healthy controls (Chronbach's α > 0.80).” should read
“1) Using the SMT, the Mensendieck therapists demonstrated a high degree of reliability when examining both patients with CPP and healthy controls (ICC1.1 > 0.80).”
