Abstract
In his presentation Dr Drew outlined the aims and the strategies contemplated for the forthcoming national campaign against drug abuse. They would be debated at the Special Premiers' Conference in April 1985. He sought advice from participants about the most effective way of advancing medical skilis in the drug and alcohol field, both through existing training programmes and by means of “emergency” training.
