Abstract
The neurological and neuropathological effects of alcohol abuse are reviewed. They include acute intoxication, withdrawal syndromes, trauma, cerebro-vascular events, liver disease effects, secondary malnutrition effects, chronic toxicity, miscellaneous associated disorders and the foetal alcohol syndrome.
