David B. Allison is the author of Living History: Effective Costumed Interpretation and Historical Enactment at Museums and Historic Sites (2016) and the forthcoming edited volume Controversial Monuments and Memorials: A Guide for Community Leaders to be published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2018, as well as numerous articles that focus on the nexus of the history of museums and contemporary practice. Allison is Onsite Programs Manager at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and designs and develops shows and programs for audiences of all ages. He holds a M.A. in U.S. History from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI) and a M.B.A. from Regis University.
