Carol E. Mayer
Dr. Carol Mayer served as head of the curatorial department at the University of British Columbia Museum of Anthropology, with particular responsibility for the Pacific and African collections, and the European and Canadian ceramics collections. Her regional interests include Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji, New Zealand and British Columbia. Since retirement in 2022, Dr. Mayer has explored her Pacific and Ceramics research interests as a Research Fellow with the Museum of Anthropology.
