There are ten EU equality directives: equal pay (75/117/EEC); equal treatment as regards access to employment (76/207/EEC as amended by directive 2002/73/EC); equal treatment with regard to statutory social security schemes (79/7/EEC); equal treatment with regard to occupational social security schemes (86/378/EEC); equal treatment for the self‐employed and their assisting spouses (86/613/EEC); pregnancy directive (92/85/EEC); working time directive (93/104/EC as amended by directive 2004/34/EC); parental leave (96/34/EC); burden on proof in sex discrimination (97/80/EC); part‐time work (97/81/EC).
