Hui Wang

Hui Wang received the Ph.D. degree in Tourism from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2019. Hui’s research interests focus on tourism gendered workers, tourism development and environmental sustainability. Her recent academic writing include “Queering Gender and Labour in Asian Tourism” (Tourism Geographies, upcoming), “Research on informal tour guides’ spatial challenge and gender strategy—A case of Yangshuo west street” (Journal of China Tourism Research), and “Are Grassroots Sport Events Good for Migrant Cities’ Sustainable Development? A Case Study of the Shenzhen 100km Hikathon” (Sustainability).
