Abstract
Some potential practical uses of the plant growth regulator chlormequat chloride (Cycocel) are reviewed. Published and unpublished data from Egypt, Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Turkey, India and elsewhere covering its field use on wheat, grapevine, peach, apricot, almond, plum, strawberry, mango, cotton, tomato, potato, sweet potato, olive and pepper are summarised and discussed.
