Abstract

During three seasons (1969, 1970, 1971) trials comparing the efficiency of four herbicides, and handweeding in controlling weeds of transplanted rice were carried out. The use of propanil or 2,4-D, IPE led to a reduction of the dry weight of weeds and to increases in grain yield.
