Abstract

Rajaian, H. and Kamrani, A. 1999. Effect of tricycline B on the arterial blood pressure in dogs. J. Appl. Anim. Res., 16: 201–203.

The effect of tricycline B on the arterial blood pressure in dog was studied. Various doses of sodium tricycline B and control solutions were successively injected via cephalic vein and changes in systolic and diastolic blood pressures were recorded. The results indicate that low doses of sodium tricycline B increase blood pressure, but subsequent higher doses had no further effect.
