Pharmacokinetics of florfenicol following intravenous (i.v.) and intramuscular (i.m.) administration (20 mg.kg⁻¹) was studied in healthy goats. Based on pharmacokinetic data, an i.v. and i.m. dosage regimen of florfenicol in goats was calculated to be 14.38 and 15.08 mg.kg⁻¹, respectively, at 12 h interval.
