An application of -expansion method to the dispersive water system

Abstract

The dispersive water wave system is explored by the -expansion method. Many new solutions are obtained with the aid of this method. These solutions include hyperbolic function solutions, trigonometric function solutions and rational function solutions. These new solutions will be better help us to understand the physical phenomenon of the disper- sive water wave equation.
