Mean estimation using scrambled responses with the impact of measurement errors in two-phase sampling

Abstract

Khalil et al. (2018, 2019a) presented mean estimators of a sensitive study variable in the presence of measurement errors (ME) in single-phase sampling. We extend that work forward in two-phase sampling under both simple and stratified random sampling and present generalized mean estimators. Efficiency of the proposed estimators is validated through a simulation study.
