Abstract
The present paper deals with the reliability analysis of gas separator system, which consists of a number of components of varying nature. The analysis of the model is performed with the help of Boolean function technique by taking general and non-identical lifetime distributions of the components of the system. In particular Weibull distribution with different scale parameter μi (i=1, 2, …, 8) is taken as lifetime distribution of the components. Some important measures of system effectiveness have been obtained. A graphical study has also been carried out to highlight the importance of the results.
