A note on the deterministic inventory models with shortage and defective items derived without derivatives

Abstract

Huang [Journal of Statistics and Management Systems, Vol. 6(2) (2003), pp. 171–180] considers the deterministic inventory models with shortage and defective items derived without derivatives. Huang’s paper involves the logical problem such that his inventory models are questionable. Numerical examples illustrate the above observations.
