Abstract

Health care is the core of human values and is crucial that relevant health care applications are in place. There are numerous challenges that can be addressed with new technologies like IOT. One such area is Opportunistic Network. Opportunistic network is the core and the current trend in technology that can be implemented in health care systems. It can be used as an aid in sorting out the issues relevant to the health care. The data is read by sensors synchronized with the user’s personal mobile devices. The mobile application analyses the data at frequent intervals. The data is analysed and compared with a predefined data. When the variation is minimal there is no alarm that is triggered, while there is a significant variation, an alarm is triggered. This triggered alarm can be sent to the nearest health facility triggering an alert. Through a GPS tracker signal the respective device that triggered the alarm can be tracked and assistance provided. The location of the person also can be retrieved through the GPS. Picking up the location through GPS, a SMS or a phone call should be made both to the nearby hospital as well as to the next of kin related to the person. Seeking the location to pick the nearby hospital can be achieved through GPS.
