Observer based fuzzy and PID controlled smart greenhouse

Abstract

This paper concentrates on smart greenhouse with implementation of PID and fuzzy logic controllers. In this work, novel observer design is presented which control the different parameters of greenhouse. Parameters are chosen to increase the yield of greenhouse, can be used in indoor breeding and planting. Control actions are performed on the basis of fusion of different parameters to optimize the energy consumption and water use. Using MATLAB Simulink models, PID controller for humidity and temperature are designed. Fuzzy inference system is designed for Carbo dioxide enrichment.
