Abstract

The nexus between the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and other fields of science in particular geographical science is closely associated with each other. ICT and its part is indispensable for forecasting weather changes, so as to take certain preventative healthy measures rather to avoid natural calamities like flood, drought, uneven rainfall and other natural chaos. The quantity of rainfall in a particular zone can be easily judged by the help of ICT and accordingly by way of chalking out agricultural planning in future. Agricultural yield, climatic change, sea erosion, exodus of cloud, urbanization, density of population, migration, rurban confines and other essential geographical problems can be easily tackled by ICT. In this environment, one can simply predict from assessing the weather forecast and its issues are addressed well in advance. Most of the geographers and planners evidently observed the future changes of climate which will influence the whole environmental situations of the people therefore they have to pursue some precautionary methods to avoid the major natural disasters. Statistical information about geographical factors on account of geographical classification like zone-wise, area-wise and state-wise relationships have been easily completed only with the help of Information and Communication Technology. Under this juncture the satellite and orbits can easily forecast the future activities in the weather conditions. On the basis of the results from the ICT appropriate preparation can be done. In this article the researchers gives a synoptic look of the magnitude of the ICT in geographical classification.
