Measurement of D-M model on competitiveness of 3PL in Indian automobile industry through partial least square (PLS) estimation

Abstract

The significant purpose of this research study is to provide insights on the selected factors influencing decision making (DM) model for estimation of competitive effectiveness among third-party logistics in Indian automobile industry as samples and population for study. Convenience sampling method was implemented to derive 396 samples from the total population. A self-administered, developed and structured questionnaire was used to collect primary data. The collected data was then analyzed using SPSS and Smart PLS to draw inferences for this research study. This research study would contribute to the preliminary body of knowledge or past literature by advancing the understanding of different perspective of decision making (DM) model for estimation of competitive effectiveness among third-party logistics. Practically this research would aid industry leaders to identify, conceptualize, and develop strategies to nurture third-party logistics.
