Self-dual codes over some prime fields constructed from skew-Hadamard matrices

Abstract

Self-dual codes are an important class of linear codes, both theoretically and for practical reasons. In this paper, we give a new construction method for self-dual codes using skew-Hadamard matrices. By applying this method we construct several “good” self-dual codes over some prime fields.
