Abstract
Based on Granger causality test, this paper analyzes the correlation between the duty-free shop and Hainan tourism and also the correlation between the sales of duty-free shop and the GDP of China and Hainan province. Accordingly, it builds empirical models: the effect of offshore duty-free policy on Hainan tourism sales and the effect of duty-free allowance increase on the sales of duty-free goods of Hainan province. Consequently, it analyzes the effect scale of offshore duty-free policy on Hainan tourism economy, in order to provide guidance for the government policy of economic decision on Hainan tourism.
