Abstract

In order to obtain herbicide resistant germplasms in wild wheat relatives, mutants selection were carried out on MS culture mediums with different dosage of Dalapon with Tove (Tolium.perenneL.), R123 (E.elongata(Host)Nevski), Napoleon (Tolium.perenneL.), Y100 (Ae.OvataL.) and Ae42 (Ae.Tauschii). The survive callus were improved having stable Dalapon-resistance by shuttle treatment of testing experiments. Resistant plants were obtained from the resistant callus of all the 5 cultivars and the resistance was improved by spraying Dalapon. Seeds and seelings were treated with Dalapon as a seeds level selection, 0.195% resistant plants of a wild species of R.ciliaris(Trin) Nevski. were obtained. All these results indicated that there is certain frequency of natural Dalapon-resistant mutants in wheat relatives.
