Employment influencing factors of e-commerce service industry

Abstract

With the rapid development of e-commerce, how to grasp the main influence factors and promote the employment potential of e-commerce service industry? The employment influencing factors of e-commerce service industry and its influence degree are discussed. The employment influencing factors model is proposed by partial least squares method. The research indicates that economic growth, urbanization, e-commerce development, human capital and informatization has the positive role in promoting the employment of e-commerce service industry; the opening degree has a crowding-out effect on employment; while the role of technological progress in employment is not clear.
