Abstract
In this work, we consider the concepts of generalized interval valued fuzzy subsemigroups which are generalizations of the concepts of interval valued fuzzy subsemigroups and several related properties of generalized interval valued fuzzy subsemigroups are investigated. In this paper important results, regular, intra-regular and semisimple semigroups are characterized in terms of generalized interval valued fuzzy ideals are provided.
