In the current study, essential oil of Artemisia sieversiana, Artemisia jacutica, and Artemisia macrocephala from Russia and Mongolia, were screen out through GC-MS. Analyses of essential oils showed that the presence of 49 individual compounds in concentration are over 0.1 %. The highest content of chamazulene was detected in A. jacutica (53.6 %), which is a great significance for medicine. Essential oils of A. macrochephala and A. sieversiana contain enough amount of the famous anti-inflammatory α-bisabolol.
