Abstract
Web have now become a master source of information and play an important role in its dissemination because people become more web centric to access information in last 10 years and all the institutes designed and developed their website to provide information through web. This paper evaluates the websites of NITs of northeast region of India based on the webometric perspective. The study investigates 8 NITs of northeast region through observation method and resolved that NIT Silchar of Assam has got the maximum number of web pages, highest number of Internal and External Links and highest Web Impact Factor and rank at top among the all websites of NITs.
