Abstract

In part one, we have discussed the transmission line sections used in the design of microwave integrated circuits. Coupled line sections were also dealt with because of their usefulness in various microwave circuits like directional couplers, filters and impedance matching transformers. This part includes some more basic circuit elements like resonators and transitions between different transmission lines. Impedance discontinuities like junctions and bends are also discussed.
