Abstract
The article discusses the mutual links and the interface between Jewish apocalypses and pagan oracles in the Graeco-Roman period. The background and nature of this interface are firstly discussed, followed by an analysis of the dynamics and mutual stimulants of this process, with a final section on apocalyptic and oracular language.
