Exploitation of neutron biodynamics data from pulsed-source spectrometers

Pages 75-81 | Received 26 Jan 2006, Accepted 26 May 2006, Published online: 13 Oct 2011

Abstract

Efficient exploitation of substantial increases in data volumes from third-generation pulsed sources requires a freely accessible database of neutron spectra from biomolecules and their building blocks. The main characteristics of existing biodynamics databases are outlined and attention is drawn to the fact that neutron scattering is the only major technique lacking such a facility.
