Abstract
The main characteristics of the SNIM-2 installation at the IBR-2 pulsed reactor are given. SNIM-2 consists of a time-of-flight neutron spectrometer for elastic and inelastic neutron scattering and a pulsed magnetic device. The SNIM-2 is used to study the structure. of phase states induced by a magnetic field in single crystals and the kinetics of phase transitions.
