Pages 57-59 | Received 03 Aug 1970, Published online: 13 Aug 2008

Abstract

A spectrochemical method has been developed for analysis of impurities in tellurium targets used for production of 131I isotope. The method uses a preconcentration of impurities on a graphit base by vacuum distillation of Te. Elements Ga, In, Be, Mn, Pd, Zr, Rh, Ti, Pb, Cr, Sn, Mg, Fe, Bi, Al, Ag, Ni, Co, Pt and Sb have been determined in the concentration range 2×10−6 to 1×10−20% with samples of 1 g Te.
