Abstract
The results of laboratory studies of retention of 90Sr in soils from different regions of Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria are given. The concern is aimed to the comparison of main parameters characterizing its retention in this system and to the factors, which may influence the ability of soils to detain the radiostrontium.
