Abstract

A new highly oxygenated nortriterpenoid, 2β-hydroxy-micrandilactone C (1), and three related known triterpenoids (24) have been isolated from the leaves and stems of Schisandra chinensis. The structure of the new compound was elucidated by means of NMR and MS spectroscopic analyses.
