Abstract

Two new coumarins (1) and (2), along with seven known coumarins 39, were isolated from the leaves and stems of Coriaria nepalensis Wall. The two new compounds were established as 7-hydroxy-6-methoxy-3,8-bis(3-methyl-2-butenyl) coumarin (1) and 7-hydroxy-6-methoxy-3-(3-methyl-2-butenyl) coumarin (2), on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR techniques. The known compounds 3, 69 were isolated from this plant for the first time.
